Discover Engineering in Central Texas

There are a variety of roles for volunteers:
Steering Committee Member
Works continuously throughout the year to improve and expand E-Week activities, participates in monthly and special planning meetings, distributes information within the community, gathers volunteers, assigns team (Unlimited hours)
Key Contact
Acts a focal point for gathering volunteers from a company or technical society, provides information on the local and national programs to the organization, forwards volunteer information to the steering committee (20-30 hours)
Team Leader
Coordinates timing and content of school visit with teacher, schedules team meeting to develop content, presents material to students, solicits feedback from teacher (10-15 hours)
Team Member
Provides materials pertinent to the team presentation and/or your engineering specialization, creates part of the team presentation, presents material to students (8-10 hours)
