Whether you’re new to the classroom, an experienced teacher, or an interested parent, there are dozens of fun, hands-on activities that will get kids excited about the world of engineering.  Here are a sampling of activities we train engineers to bring into classrooms across Central Texas.

Earth Day 2011 is already in the past but here’s a great activity for a school visit from Design Squad Nation.  Their web site also has an interview with a package design engineer and  more green activities.

Looking for a range of activities that could be used across several classroom sessions or in after school programs, Teachers TryScience is a resource for teachers and volunteers and allow you to add your your own lesson plans.

Europe has a free resource, Science in School, which aims to promote inspiring science teaching by encouraging communication between teachers, scientists, and everyone else involved in European science education.
