A new resource guide is available from DESIGN SQUAD, the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning series from WGBH which has just begun its Third season.  The Teacher's Guide is written especially for middle school teachers of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Its 11 hands-on, open-ended, standards-based challenges focus on force, electricity, and sound—topics found in nearly every physical science curriculum.
